Get the client installed and playing in under 10 minutes.
Download ClientFollow these steps to get TERA running on your PC.
Get the game files
Click the Download Client button above to start downloading Tera-Client.zip. The file is approximately 35 GB — make sure you have enough free disk space and a stable connection.
Unpack the game to a folder
Once downloaded, right-click the ZIP file and select "Extract All..." or use a tool like 7-Zip or WinRAR.

Navigate to your extracted TERA folder and find the Launcher executable:

Register on the website
Before you can log in, you need a game account. Head to our registration page:
Create Free Account →Your login credentials are the same for both the launcher and the website.

Add the entire TERA folder to your antivirus exclusions. Windows Defender: Settings → Virus & Threat Protection → Exclusions → Add Folder.
Make sure you're using the correct launcher from our download. Check that your firewall isn't blocking TERA. Try running the launcher as Administrator.
Install the latest DirectX End-User Runtime from Microsoft. Make sure your GPU drivers are up to date.
Try running in compatibility mode (Windows 7). Lower your graphics settings. Make sure you have at least 4 GB free RAM.
Download the client and join Arborea today.
